Zatch Bell
Sinopsis
La serie manga “Zatch Bell” está basada en los dibujos creados por Makato Raiku. El personaje que da nombre a la serie es un "mamodo" –o ser de otra dimensión- que ha llegado a la Tierra junto a otros 99, para luchar entre sí hasta que sólo quede uno vivo, y se convierta en Rey de los mamodos.
Una vez cada 100 años se produce la batalla por saber quién es el nuevo Rey de los mamodos. Y ahora ha llegado el momento de que 100 de sus hijos vayan a la Tierra con su libro de conjuros. El motivo por el que vienen a la Tierra a luchar entre sí es porque sólo algunos humanos pueden leer ese libro de conjuros. Por lo que se convierten en guardianes del libro. Cada mamodo deberá encontrar al humano que pueda leer su libro, y cuanto antes.
Kyo es un brillante estudiante de 14 años que se siente fuera de lugar en su instituto. Su padre, un importante hombre de negocios, regresa de Inglaterra, donde ha estado por motivos de trabajo. Llega con un niño pequeño que se hace llamar Zatch. Su padre lo ha encontrado en un jardín y parece que el muchacho ha perdido la memoria y sólo lleva consigo un libro de color rojo con extraños caracteres. Cuando Kyo abre el libro sorprende a todo el mundo leyendo en voz alta uno de los caracteres que hay en su interior. Esto hace que el pequeño Zatch sonría, ya ha descubierto al ser humano que se va a convertir en el guardián de su libro. A partir de ahora, los dos deberán luchar contra otros mamodos y sus guardianes, hasta que sólo quede uno. Ése será quien se convierta en el Rey. En esa lucha Kyo y Zatch tendrán que enfrentarse a otros mamodos, no todos ellos malos.
